ZTCC Statement of Faith
We believe that the scripture is the Word of God written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe the scripture to be inerrant in it's original language and relevant to our daily lives.
We believe the five-fold ministry (apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists) are for the perfecting of the Church according to Ephesians 4:11.
We believe Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, born to a virgin named Mary, was crucified, buried and resurrected with all power given to Him. We believe salvation and forgiveness of sins is only through Him according to Holy Scripture.
We believe in the triune God; one God, three manifestations in Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as evidenced in speaking in tongues.
We believe in water baptism in Jesus' name.
We believe that women are called and appointed to carry the Gospel message and hold positions of leadership within the church. We believe the Word when it says that sons and daughters would prophesy and that there is neither male nor female in the Body of Christ.
We believe in victorious living!
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ and the rapture of the Church.
OUR PURPOSE
To preach and teach salvation through Jesus Christ and Him alone.
To invoke God's presence through worship and praise in every service. To draw Him close allowing His presence to fill us and to change us.
To provide direction, hope and healing through God's Word; and to restore wounded, hurting, and broken people to wholeness.
To help people mature spiritually and fulfill their God-given purpose and destiny.
To pray fervently and frequently; emphasizing prayer's utmost importance in establishing and strengthening our relationship with God and to see His will be done in our midst.
To strengthen communities by strengthening families.
To be genuine and authentic men and women of God in our private and public lives.
To train and develop leaders who will influence others toward reaching their God-given purpose.
